Other projects

Apart from focussing on the training, the Samuel Foundation supports individual projects which have come to our attention in the scope of our activities. In this engagement we also concentrate on providing help for children in need. However, one should not class this as being the criteria for being excluded from our support. With these projects - just as much as with our own projects - we value an efficient and resourceful deployment of means as well as a lasting and long-term effect of the projects.

Since 1990, we have supported the El Tepeyac health office in Nicaragua. We are also active with a further project in the neighbouring country of Costa Rica: in San Isidro we operate two children's homes (Albergues) in cooperation with the official authority PANI, where children, who have experienced violence, can find
sanctuary in a family-like environment. In Germany, we founded the KiD gGmbH, of which we are a fellow partner. The KiD gGmbH is an in-patient technical facility for abused children in Dusseldorf. Apart from this, the Foundation regularly supports young students of the Art Academy in Dusseldorf.
